The FV series stainless steel worm gearboxes are standard worm gears designed to meet the latest standards in the food industry. They feature a design that emphasizes cleanability, durability, and hygiene. The material used is SUS316. The lineup ranges from a shaft distance of 30mm to 63mm and can be replaced with common aluminum worm gears. The efficiency of standard worm gears varies with the reduction ratio, and higher reduction ratios result in lower transmission efficiency. For this reason, we recommend the use of the FK series hypoid bevel gears, which provide high efficiency even with high reduction ratios of up to 300:1.
